I loved the anime and hope this'll encourage someone to license the novels.

I see it's finally finished after all these years. The author's been known for working on multiple projects after all.

I really hope more of Kagami Takaya's work gets translated into English.

Isn't its actually the opposite? I recall someone telling me the original anime actually covered the entirety of the original novels. Maybe the same case will happen here.

Still, the original series came out ages ago though.

Going by the usual, anime promotes source thing, a sequel isn't likely and a adaptation usually is mentioned before the source ending, to make a boost on sales.
Yes the anime covered the entire first part, I just hope you are right.

Baka-Tsuki currently lists the translation project for the light novels as abandoned. A shame, as they only completed through Volume 9 and had bits of 10 and 11 translated. I just discovered this series recently and it's frustrating that I may never get to read all of it.

And yes I registered today just so I could comment here.

Here's to hoping the end may spark some interest.
