The Japanese fascination with WW2 Germany has appeared numerous times throughout my time as an anime fan. I don't get it, but I don't get hung up over it either. I do not agree at all with the Directors commentary and content of his posts.. however it doesn't change my opinion of the series and the fact that I enjoyed it. Tearing down something because 1 person says something stupid.. is equally stupid. He is entitled to his own opinions regardless to whether or not I or WE personally agree with it. I do not support tearing down this show over some sort of Social Justice reaction.
