I'm loving this game so far but the only issue I have is how much of pain in the ass it is to party up with your friends. And the fact you can't just join them on expeditions without sending a flare up or starting a investigation.

A great kick off to the new gaming year. It’s such a surprisingly deep game with so much to do. Yes the prevalent action is to kill monsters but you can also do so much more. That’s probably that pleased me the most.

While it is annoying, you can at least get to an expedition pretty quick by doing an easy "kill X small monsters" quest. They should just let you queue them up on the quest board though.

Huh, I though monster hunter was primarily a multiplayer experience, which is the main reason I was staying away from it.

I'll probably get it once it comes to PC

Played it for a while, thanks to insufficient time due to heavy work. Gameplay is quite forgiving, at least at the start. As shown in the title "world" is one aspect of this game. It's memorable that one Japanese guy helped me defeat a boss days ago. Unfortunately my family network had some problem and it is hard to play MHW online for now.

I'm completely loving Monster Hunter: World after taking a break since 4U. I pretty much exclusively play it now (aside from weekly raids in World of Warcraft) and having a blast!

Too bad this isn't the Monster Hunters International of Cazador, Alabama. I'd love to see a game based on that universe.

Players see it that way, but the devs see it as both. It can be played 100% solo, you just have to be better prepared and rely on more tools than in multi-player; and don't be afraid to run like hell if necessary.

As for waiting for PC, it looks to be September at the earliest.
