Think they'll be faithful to the comic book?

This almost has to get a stateside release, right? It'd be absolutely stupid not to.

I'll admit it's an interesting design. It's interesting to see Japanese companies do a take on American comics and American companies do a take on anime.
Though I'm not a fan of the 'Witchblade' series or have ever read it, I'll probably check it out just to see what they come up with. If 'Gonzo' is doing it expect to see enough CG thrown in there somewhere. I like 'Gonzo's work but not when they use too much CG. 'Solty Rei' is an example of some of the laziest CG I've seen, no actually 'Armitage Dual Matrix' had the laziest CG. But whatever he case I like CG when it's used appropriate times. |

Great, so no S&M undertones. |

Ohhh, but it'd be hilariously ironic if it didn't. |

Or at least if it just took them like 2 years to release it here.

Well, one thing is for sure.
A) The creator is jumping around like a "madman" that his show is being animated in "anime" style. and B) The chances of seeing it released over here are very high. I predict a very quick licensing act in the works. |

Well at least it has to be better than that awful, horrible, affront to all things good and holy television version they did. Wow that was bad.

doesnt it destory the originality? witchblade originaly from US.
i think marc silvery has lost his mind. why did he use animation like, "batman beyond" or " x-men evolution"? are they cool? ok the good thing, the animation is cool. the design suit is very intresting. witchblade in manga version. There is not sara penzini for character in witchblade. honestly, i m quite bored big eyes manga style. I like japanese style like berserk anime or cowboy bebop. |
