Hell yeah! Fantastic news. I know I'm in the minority here but I loved the tv series. If it's half as good as Divine Flame I'll be more than happy.

The dub might be out in 2019 or 2020. Sad

^^ I'm guessing we might get a Vanishing Line film in a couple of years following Garo's pattern so far? That'd be rad too.

The announcement itself is proof that the movie will have better animation than the show.

Sweet, more with Raiga and Jinga?

Inoue makes such a great villain. I might have to go rewatch Kamen Rider Decade imagining him as the villain, see how much it changes the show (not much, probably, he was a bit of a jerk to start with).

The article failed to mention that both Raiga and Raikou (Crimson Moon's Garo) are played by the same actor Wink

Most likely if/when we see an ANN article saying that Funi has licensed it. On a similar note, the "Date A Live" movie came out 2 years ago and Funi has not released that yet.

First thought: Why?
Second thought: Well, if it means Vanishing Line will get a movie, it's a good thing.

But it will be nice if these movies were made available legally (I'd prefer via streaming). I watched an illegal rip of the first Garo animated movie on Youtube--it was really good and tied up the series' loose ends. It'd be a shame if most fans missed it because there were no legal ways to watch it.

Maybe. Then again, Funimation hasn't licensed Divine Flame yet.
