Hey! Shinji only said"Bullshit!" in the Platinum Edition! They're broadcasting the old VHS dub! That's not right!

I didn't see the NGE episode, but I did watch The Boondocks last night. That had a few 'interesting' shots of the female character. No touching that I remember, but I think AS has come a long way from adding clothing to Faye to take away cleavage.

Yeah, I noticed that the night it premiered. The video quality of this run is terrible... it makes the show look like it's from 1975 instead of 1995. And considering the limited appeal of Lupin, I think that was a huge mistake.

To be fair, has Miroku ever copped a feel on a naked breast?
I still think it was ridiculous to cut it out though. Obscenity laws don't apply between 10PM and 4AM, so they could have easily shown the whole series uncut.

Yeah good point... was interesting that they had no problem showing camel toe on [adult swim] now

Considering the ratings Boondocks gets (something about 2.28 million or something), they could do the entire show naked for all anyone cares.
And I thought Miroku was all about the boTTom

As long as you mosaic it and the girl doesn't appear wet afterwards. (Struck me as a bit odd.)
Adult Swim has always been more lenient with their original programming than they have with pre-existing series. Venture Bros. was the only show I've ever heard use the word "dick" on the block, and "cocktease" too, for that matter.

Mostly but there was on episode (forgot name and number but it was before the band of seven arc and after naraku mysteriously vanished) where Sango said, "I'm surprised you didn't do anything perverted," and Miroku places his hand on her breast, and says, "All you had to do was ask."

Everything they show on their origianl programing is stuff that would defently get some parents riled up and pissed, but they have go edit a hand on a breast, considering all the s**t they have show already?
It does not make sence.
If it is so bad, they should do what they are doing to second GIG, slap a TVMA on it, and leave it alone.

Because they feel the need to kiss Aaron McGruder's ass on a show that's still being made, as opposed to a 10 year old aquisition.

If a rather commonly heard expletive and a hand covering a naked breast (exposing no areola, at that) warrants edition, I worry for the fate of the rest of the series.
On the other hand, CN lets us hear a certain "n" word uttered on an ongoing and apparently infinitely basis on other of their AS shows...but which is actually more "offensive"?

All of this is exactly why I will never watch anime on commercial television. To see a series I love get butchered up really makes me mad. So I stay away.
