This is so cool. It looks like Miku is really inside dancing.

I'll second the "How did they DO that? ", and ask, what, is it a "build your own PC" in a glass case?
(I'd wonder when Apple would pick up on that idea, but I think they already did the glass-case idea about ten or fifteen years ago.)

Shows how far technology has gone, having holograms in our computers. Which begs the question, how much?
But let's be honest, who would use such tech? Most people have their computer towers hidden away, or so full of tech that it would be difficult to even display such a feature. However, if computer companies can design a computer with holotech that functions as a fully operational monitor, then things could get interesting. Maybe replace Miku with some VI (not AI) personality that acts as your virtual assistant, then we're talking awesome!

I read that It's just part of the LED screen with no backlight. Anything white is the LCD showing everything behind it. So put her on a white background and it looks like a hologram. That's why the case has a bright white light and white interior. You can do this with any LED screen if you can separate the backlight.

If we don't have a Miku-voiced Siri in Japan yet, we will soon.
They've already played around with maid-cafe assistants, it's only one more step.
(Maybe even with customized responses if you ask about leeks or song references.)
