Not as surprising as the Moon Phase license. Everyone practically knew that FUNimation was going after this one.

Well, maybe not everyone...but many. Some were even HOPING that FUNimation would be the one to pick it up.

Which says nothing since they wouldn't have been the only opnes going after it.

See the Berserk licensing thing.

Yes, because it's true. Like gravity. If they manage to sell enough dvd's to make a profit, I'll be amazed.

Well hasn't FUNimation been productive this weekend...oddly enough I just deleted all 6 Negima episodes from my computer the other day.

Yeah, me too. I can guarantee I'll be one that won't buy one but I can guarantee I'll get all the mangas.

Ep 14 and 23+ were also good, but overall the manga kicks it's ass so bad it's not even funny.

Man, FUNi is on a role, eh? Good for them. Anime smile I hope this means that they will have a wider variety of dub voices to choose from, if the English voices disappoint me though, I guarantee you I'll only watch the subs.

People are saying that Funi will also use some of ADV's people for Negima, considering the large amount of female voices they need.

Funi already uses a lot of ADV's people. I actually knew about who was playing the role of Negi before the announcement (no, I'm not saying where or how I got that info), but because Funi and ADV share so many VAs, that info alone couldn't tell me exactly which had licenced it. But yeah, just in general, Funi and ADV having been doing a lot of VA sharing lately.

Yeah, compared to the manga, the anime...let's just say isn't up to par...I'll just stick to the manga thank you Anime hyper

I as well had a source that can not be relieved on how I found out that Greg was going to play Negi. I didn't exaclty like that idea because honestly I just don't see Goku from Saiyuki and Negi having the same voice. That doesn't play well in my mind.

Indeed. Aren't FUNi and ADV headquarters near each other (or at least in the same state)?
