I'm about half way through LN vol. 11 and the story does take a much darker turn here thanks to the more realistic world setting. Can't wait to see how they plan on handling a certain scene that seems like a major turning point in the story. So far it's SAO at its best (shame the stuff with Asuna puts the brakes on the storie's momentum every time.)
