as I have not watched OVA I am unsure about the new voice??
but still will be okay as I never liked erina except her body which will be the same

I was resigned to the change for months but then after having her name still on the website while her return was announced and thinking it would actually be Taneda I'm pretty miffed to the point I feel like skipping S3.

It's sad that Ms. Taneda-san won't be able to return as Erina, but it can't be helped...
Hopefully she'll return to voice acting in full health by the time Season 3 is over. |

I don't watch Food Wars but I feel bad for Taneda-san. Hopefully, she will make a full recover. (And hopefully, trolls won't attack Hisako Kanemoto because she replaced Taneda).

This quote actually made me check the Shipping Books but Soma x Erina is still the odds on favorite. I didn't check the official Las Vegas one but I'm not betting on a sure thing. I really love the character and one of those factors was her voice for her so this is unfortunate news. The character gets some unwarranted dislike. Her sense of taste gave her pride, her pride made her haughty and her haughtiness makes her cute. Her taste is unique and her pride is justified because of it... all Soma has to do is prick her haughtiness but it's probably less like picking the lock on her heart, more like defusing a bomb. |

Simply because I'm so used to hearing Rindou voiced a certain way in my head that I'll probably be disappointed no matter who ended up voicing her :v Itou is fine, but I haven't been enamored by any of her roles. |
