Yeah, that chapter is really cool, lot's of fights and the Wailing Wall! ^^

Too bad they switched voiceactors, come on, after so many years they suddenly decide to give Seiya another voice? >.> [The new voice actors for Seiya and Shun can be found on the site of Kurumada Masami].

Another one? Didn't they just have a new OVA series that was released some years ago.

I guess they want ot keep it going somehow. Man I tell you I remember 'SS' from the late 80's. Oh, man. So of course it shocks me to hear of this title still being remembered after all this time.

Hey while their at why don't they try for a live-action version of the series. Now that would be interesting. Wink

The Hades - Sanctuary Chapter was just the beginning of the Hades arc of the manga, the upcoming Inferno chapter should cover the events that occur in the Hades, with an unannounced Elysium chapter ending the Hades arc.

There was actually a Saint Seiya live action musical ^^;

They seem to like musicals made from anime. Sailor Moon's been done several times it seems.

Saint Seiya remains popular among those who know about it. It's really a more interesting shonen tale than DBZ. DB was fun & sweet, but DBZ got repetitious fast &, while one can argue so does Saint Seiya, with the larger main cast I find the plot more interesting. It's not all just Seiya as with DBZ & Goku, the other Bronze Saints get their share of the action. I know the local bootleg shop I visit regularly stocks Seiya stuff(There's a $50 Scorpio figure coming out next month, I believe) & the owner comments it's very popular among Hispanics (considering we're like an hour from the border). I'm just glad there's enough of an audience he stocks figurines & stuff.

Don't forget 'Sakura Wars'. But I never would have thought about a musical for 'Saint Seiya'. Laughing

Err, after doing what web-searching, it seems it wasn't a musical after all, sorry for misinforming yoy ^^;

I had seen some pictures on some site which said it was from a Seiya musical, but I found them on Kurumada Masami's site, with a proper description, it was just a Seiya show in a Jump festival.

I'm glad they're finally attempting to animate the rest of the manga. I've been looking forward to this since 2003 after they finished the first arc of the Hades Chapter. Hopefully they'll keep on and finish the rest of it after this part is through.

I saw the Hades and the Tenkai Hen movie, Not having finish the series I still thought it was pretty good. The background was amazing. I haven't seen a lot of anime that can deliver such a punch I am not so sure about the series but the Hade ovas and the movie were great.

Haha.. I've been looking forward to this for more than 10 years!!! ( When I was watching it on Hong Kong TV) Very angry at the fact that they are changing voice actors for this series though :evil

Ok,i know this is a major bump in this but i have a question which i have not been able to find answers to. Being a Saint Seiya fan as a child i recently remembered about the series and began looking for episodes, i found hades - sanctuary (1-13)
Hades Inferno (1-6) and the heaven chapter. Now as far as i know the Inferno chapter follows the sanctuary and then the Heaven chapter, correct me if im wrong. Also if that is so then what happens between the 6th episode of Inferno and the heaven chapter. Since in the 6th episode th bronze saints have not begun to fight Hades and the heaven chapter takes place after hades. Is there going to be more Inferno episodes? Or is the Hades fight not in any episode. If anybody could fill in the gaps in my knowledge i would greatly appreciate it.
