At least the DMCA they did makes sense now.

It does look neat at least, though I have the feeling that the fan rom will feel like a better game.

Return of side scroller metroid is easily the second most exciting thing I've heard from E3 this year. Sign me up.

The original Metroid II: Return of Samus is pretty dated, but laid a lot of concepts the series would return to, and is also pretty damn atmospheric in its claustrophobia. This seems to be a really thorough remake. The lighting is a little bit flat, but otherwise I have no complaints. Radial aiming and an expanded SR388? I'm hyped.

I'm glad they got parts of the Other M team working on this. It's always nice to see someone learn from their mistakes and redeem themselves.

whew I'm actually was excited about this until I learned that mercury-steam is the team working on this remake. Now i'm going to have be reserved about Metroid: Samus Retruns and hope that it will be good.
