Am I the only one who thinks the KEI-inspired graphics of Miku feel a bit outdated?

They weren't kidding about low birth rates in Japan. What's next? Hatsune Miku bearing your child?

I would so try this with better MMD models like
Tda or Tsumi, api, or Lat., but hope no one would be around.

The power of science is amazing! The way she interacts with the environment and reacts to things is incredible. There's all kinds of applications for this technology.

I really see pro and con with this.
While the above isn't wrong about the "future of mankind", it does make out that our future is going to be full of weirdos. Especially since these are just programs than something with intelligence. Then again, it will probably lead to our destruction as they revolt! I'm joking, btw!
But seriously, after thinking about it. This might actually lead to a positive.
First off, given the massive offset between male and female populations, afraid not everyone might end up with that "special someone". So this very well could help some "lonely" individuals. At least until dating robots become the norm.
Robots and AI aside, interactive AR tech might actually be helpful for living humans. Mainly those who are disabled. For instance, it would be like in SAO how Kirito helped Yui and Yuki to see the outside world with that camera on his shoulder. The AR helmet would be our visual input in seeing that person on the other end. Or like in Mass Effect, where the omnitool displays a hologram of the person we are communicating with.
So while it does give us pause as "another weird Japanese idea", ultimately it might actually be a good thing.
