Great more waiting (first Final Fantasy Advent Children, and now this) I finding out spoilers for FMA, so I'm good on that for awhile (SWEET JESUS THE SPOILERS BLOW MY MIND!!)

I really wanted to see more Samurai Champloo since I stopped buying the DVDs to watch it on TV (didn't when they start repeating the episodes catch you off guard? I was all ready to see the next on, and all of the sudden BAM first episdoe again ~_~) And that also worries me because this show has a whole other season. *sigh*

I don't mind waiting for GITS: SAC, I didn't even know there was a second season until I heard "Rise", because the first part ended pretty well to me.

Samurai Champloo only has one season. It is 26 episodes long. That whole two season thing comes from when it was taken off of one channel after episode 16 and episodes 17-26 were played on another.

So after all the whining Adult Swim did about how no one watched all-anime night, they're bringing back all-anime night. Prepare for a series of bumps centered around the theme of "we're giving you a second chance" or something like that.

InuYasha and FMA combine to make a good anchor for the block, though, especially with new episodes, so let's hope they can hold their own without an assist from Futurama this time.

It's still not all anime night. The Boondocks is on at midnight. Although it looks very anime.

I don't really like the scheduling of the night according to this. I think if they are going to do a comedy show they should just do it at 11PM as the lead-in rather than breaking up the anime series like that.

InuYasha starting off Saturday sounds good. And I can't wait for the new Samurai Champlo episodes. Though you have to remember not ALL Samurai Champlo DVDs are out yet, so that must be the reason why we didn't see any new episodes for a while. And maybe I'll watch the second season of Ghost In The Shell: Stand Alone Complex just to see how it is.

And I'm still very much looking forward to the new Fullmetal Alchemist episodes. Last episode left me hanging.

AS shouldn't take on shows if they can't show 26 episodes without taking months off. It's ridiculous that we have to wait for November for new episodes of Samurai Champloo.

Well...beggars can't be choosers. Razz

If you can't wait months in between, Netflix is a good option too. Although...one of the posters above is right. Not all discs of Samurai Champloo are out yet.

So would you rather Adult Swim just not show Samurai Champloo at all? Or have a gaping hole in their Saturday lineup for a good 3-4 months? That's really all that could've been done in that situation. Either they sat on it and waited, in the meantime having no other new anime to replace it with (which would've completely pissed off a lot of fans), or they just passed on the show and bypassed dealing with Geneon completely.

Shouldn't FMA be the lead-in, considering IY tanked both times it was previously given that spot? And the Boondocks in the middle of this lineup? Huh?

If Geneon would deliver them faster, maybe AS wouldn't have to do it.

If you can't do something right, you shouldn't do it at all. Yes, I DO think they should have passed on the show, if they knew they couldn't show all of it 26 weeks in a row. It's unheard of for AS to make us wait this long for a short series to play out (er, besides Big O, but that was for a different reason).
