Happy to see it doing OK, a good crowd at my local theater even at 7pm on a Saturday, but no dub, only subs! What gives?

That's good for an anime film here right? I'm glad. I saw the English dub tonight and enjoyed it a lot.

Cool! I went to the first dub screening on Friday, and there were only maybe 8 people in the theater, so I was a little concerned (but it was also early afternoon, hopefully a lot more people were able to show up after typical work/school hours).

Both options are out there, so it's down to what your theater chooses to show and when. My local theater around the corner is doing five screenings per day this weekend, 3 sub and 2 dub each day. I just had to know which version I was buying tickets for, is all.

My screening was VERY sparse. maybe like 6 people total. When I saw that I thought "oh man, I guess this is a bust in the states." Now I'm starting to think I was wrong, and that the sparseness was really only due to it being a 9:40pm screening.

This is running multiple days unlike some other releases, so keep an eye out, you may have another shot. Still running tomorrow at theaters in my general area, anyway.

Got to see it today myself, and yes, it is totally worth it to see this one on the big screen.

Ah, okay then. I thought it was a 1- or 2-day thing, as the only movie FUNimation has done more than that is One Piece Film Gold, which was a week-long thing through help from Toei (and which I managed to miss because I came down with a terrible fever through its entire run). I was not able to see your name. when I was at Anime Expo last year either because my work schedule would not allow it. Looks like it's showing at a theater about 10 miles away for five times on Sunday, so I might give it a shot. I would've wanted to see it dubbed though. The 15 closest theaters that show it are all either subbed, unspecified, or has ended its run (or, in one case, has a broken list of show times and I couldn't discern if it's even showing the movie or not).

Glad to see this doing well for an anime film that isn't Studio Ghibli. I saw it yesterday and it was really good.

Saw it Friday at 7:30 dubbed, had a pretty good turn out with about thirty people in the seats. Excellent movie, glad I finally got to see it.

My showing was SOLD OUT.
Framingham, MA.

Yet the whole front row only half the seats actually were filled. I think there were many virtuous souls that at least tried to make it. So more seats were sold than actually showed up. The food prices remind me why I don't go to the movies ever.

Oh, also a good film. First half was quite entertaining, though i think some of the drama was dragged out a wee bit too long in the end half.

Went to an 11:30 AM show here, subbed, and it was about 80% full. Though it was the smallest room in the theater.

Good movie. Went in knowing nothing about it other than its success in Japan.

Going tomorrow with a friend to see it dubbed can't wait! The theater a couple cities away where I'll be traveling to had 2 screenings of each version first 2 days but seems to have switched it to a single dub screening and 3 subtitled screenings foe the remainder of the movies run. Lucky for me the time of day I preferred (11:05am) is the sole dub screening so no complaints from me!

I saw it last night. I was honestly surprised at how many people showed up. I think the theater was half full.

At my theater you could buy a medium popcorn for $7.59, or a chicken sandwich with french fries for $7.99, or a hamburger with french fries for $14.59

How does that make any sense?
