This isn't much of a trailer for the film it didn't even preview the actual film's dub itself.

Geez.

Viz needs to let FUNI do their movie trailers.

The One Piece Film Gold trailer was superb and actually got me hyped to seeing that movie when I originally didn't think much of it.

This Sailor Moon R movie trailer is lame and cheap. :-/

I think this is a new take Usagi's opening monologue, since it sounds better than I remember.

I'm excited for the redub, but that is one lackluster trailer. They couldn't even throw in a dub clip or two of the villains?

well said. just what the hell is he smoking right now? the viz media dub version is very decent enough. sure while personally i would prefer miss bailey as usagi , miss seph is definitely solid as everyone's favorite crybaby. and if you compare this dub with the DIC version which most of us have in those old pioneer VHS right now, this dub is by far lightyears better than the one they did back in the 90's.

however the movie itself is not that solid. its pretty much a shoe win that the one movie people is REALLY interested in seeing is the S movie since its based off of the short story manga and it allows the series' favorite cat to be the main instead of usagi.

It's not new, it was one of two takes used in the early episodes of the first season and this one lasted up until Mercury's debut (though there was one episode that used the other take and one that used half of both).

The rest are from the R season and can also be heard in the trailer for the first set (here at 0:38 & 1:14).

Guess I got mixed up. The lack of new takes makes the trailer even more disappointing...

I might be a bit late in doing this but it's got to be said. I don't think it's fair to attack the original "Sailor Moon" dub. It was pretty good and I like it. It may not have been to everyone's taste but I was happy with it. That dub helped get "Sailor Moon" noticed in this country and it was pretty good. So what if they changed the names around in the original dub. The dub was decently acted and was pretty good.
On a personal note,I used to rent this and another videotape when the VHS versions were still around for Valentine's Day at my local video store. I just thought it was so appropriate to the spirit of that day. I liked it and I thought it was cute. That dub deserves far better credit than it's been given.
