Well that's a shame I like the series but these delays make whatever affection I have for the series is hard to maintain given the delays I kind of hoped this was not going to happen but all I can do is laugh bitterly and wait till February.

Jesus, what happened? I don't remember Actas having this many problems getting a series out before.

Long Riders is a simple show about girls riding bicycles. How on Earth did its production get so monumentally screwed up? At least God-Eater had the excuse of its unique visuals.

My goodness, just freaking cancel the show already. This is one of my anticipated shows of fall but the subpar quality and constant delays are making me lose interest every week. They could have aired this whole show next year. It really makes me think that Girls und Panzer was a fluke for Actas.

^ Girls und Panzer also had delays. Admittedly never this bad, but still.
What a shame. What is going on over at Actas?

GUP delays were worse actually. Aired in Fall, final episode didn't come out till March the next year if I remember well. The movie was also delayed for a year (or 2).
I would say simply poor management at Actas higher-ups.

Every series they did since 2012 got delayed, granted they haven't done much shows in the past 4 years but yeah delays on every show. Regalia even got rebooted in the middle of the season.
@John Hayabusa, but it kinda is? The phenomenal director it has would have made the show good at almost every animation studio. The biggest difference would have been the visual style.

Expected this to happen after they delayed 2 earlier episodes, you don't magically make free timeslots appear

The long-distance event is a "flèche", not a "fresh".

They tried to make 2 shows in the same seasn. Actas is a small studio, it does not have the man power to do that.

This is too bad. I'm enjoying the series but it is the kind of show that does't exactly rely on a powerful narrative engine or cliffhangers. I'd be a lot more pissed off if a story heavy title I was watching pulled this.

This show isn't a sports anime. Its a slice of life / cute girls doing cute things anime. In this case the cute girls are riding bikes. I personally enjoy it because it presents bike riding in the same way that I feel about it. Refreshing and fun but stupidly expensive if you want to get better gear.
