This is literally the next arc in the manga isn't it? Though some characters look out of place. I don't remember the kid. Either way, I hope this means a second season in the end. The movie looks interesting enough, hope Sentai gets on it for a release mid next year.

Isn't the fact that it's being written by the source manga's writer imply that it's a movie original, hence the whole "Why does this remind me of Tenchi Muyo, Daughter of Darkness?" plot.

I saw the first season, I have the BD set but I don't know what a second season would be about... but I wouldn't have expected the "We don't know what else to do so give them a kid" plot that has formed the backbone for so many wonderful series.

...

Ok, the only time that actually worked was DNA ^2. But look on the bright side, it's just a movie?

I dont like the part, where it say's
"Arata and the Trinity Seven must save the world in this last battle"
kinda makes you feel that they won't continue with another season/movie... Razz

If I remember correctly the kid is basically Arata's future kid or something with Lilith.

It's a spin-off novel actually(or not, I really really don't remember, someone told me but I forgot) but it's canon.

i'm afraid not. that is more or less non existent since its not cannon.

the manga version is more or less to get the actual storyline (that is unless your able to read the dragon age manga) since this series is pretty much ending up like all the other ecchi/harem/fanservice based series.
