It was a bit obvious. Takahiro was waiting for Akame ga Kill to end before he started working on Yuuki Yuuna S2, and since Yuuna is going to air in April...

Takahiro's involvement in Yuki Yuna was less than people think. The moving force behind the project was someone else.

Time for a new anime to continue the canon part of the story and ignore that original material crap.

spoiler[I'm assuming Akame, Mine, and Najenda are going to be the only Night raid characters to survive, and the spared Kurome unlike in the anime]

Not worth bothering. There are differences in terms of abilities and who survives particular incidents, but the actual story is pretty much in line. The anime team here clearly had some sort of input from the manga author for the rest of the series. This isn't a similar case at all to say FMA which heavily diverged or Hellsing which threw on an anime original ending that didn't even try to tie up the plot.

spoiler[Well, Mine Mine wasn't exactly spared in the anime either so she joins Kurome... A bit problematic if they ever create an anime sequel...]

after the manga is finished.. we can redo the anime series and give it a proper ending

if not redo episode 20 and up.. since that's when the the series went south pretty much

Nisekoi ended first. if you're going to bash a bunch of mangas at least get your info right.
