Regardless of what people think about Toei Animation's quality, they are the anime studio with the largest catalog and the oldest major studio. With this, I am curious as this project will turn out.

The story centers on five girls who fight with a special mission in the plane of existence on the other side of the screen.

So basically there isn't fourth wall at all, like in the Ciel/Ar noSurge?

I'm going to pass on this, that anime requires you to play a money pit to enjoy it, I am glad they are transparent about it though.

Aren't there enough mecha musume JRPGs already? Anyway honestly I find Toei passable these days. They make a lot of really long running day time series and are always busy making commercials for Bandai but when they can focus in on something the results are usually great. It's A-1 that concerns me more with projects cause even when it's movie or a short TV series they seem to struggle nowadays and too be honest the QUALITY in some of their recent shows actually looks worse than or just as poor as your average Dragon Ball Super episode.

Love the design and the concept seems to be intriguing at least. I think I will wait for more info.

Now if a simulcast is made, then Toei can lessen their piracy complaints. Good luck with the former.
