Well, that's funny considering how many people watched the fansubs and basically said that it was a dead project.
You don't call a show the 'Baku-Ten' project and then end with a cliffhanger. Well, then there is 'Super Kuma-san'. Well, guess what folks? The project IS BACK ON! :p I just hope this picks up where we left off or I will be solely pissed. |

despite mixed and harsh reviews here and otherwise, this series is a great series. I know it had problems, but everything it did (save for one detail which i'll speak of last) was on purpose. It tributed all the various styles and genres. Heck you could even write off the stupid beach episode where everyone gets a boob job (wtf?) as a tribute ep, at least it wasn't a 2 parter. The ending would make even more sense if you read the manga (heck the whole series for that matter) the manga is a prequel setup for the tv series and is very well done, bloody action and fluffy romance ^^
last detail - not enough romantic situations in the anime, i'm hoping i get some in the ova, so glad it ain't like the elfen lied ova (eh ova type, not arguing they needed a continuation) known? nah it was known on the japanese website and on it's own site under the 'special' link which haha is still under construction |

Could an Encyclopedia staff member please add the Licensed by: Funimation to the page as well?

I noticed someone added all of the English cast and staff to the Encyclopedia. It's not yet time to do that though, nor add FUNi as a licensor, as it was just announced on the Japanese BakuTen site. FUNi has not announced whether or not they will pursue the license. |

I did that, and if it is on http://www.burstangel.com/ , then obviously FUNi has the license for it

Firstly, I find no reference to it on that site. So if you could tell me where specifically you found it there, it would be helpful. Secondly, if it is just an anouncement of the OVA's creation, that does not have anything to do with them having the license, it's simply so the fans know. |

Click on DVD on the left side. You'll see that on the bottom, DVD 1 and 2 are active, and that DVDs 3-7 and OVA are inactive. The entire site is done in flash.
Also, if I have anything to say, the final 6th DVD of the series should be released in March of next year, and then the 7th DVD of the OVA would be released in May of next year. |

Yup I see. Sure does seem to be a lack of information about it if it's supposed to premiere at AX. |

WHOO HOO!!! The gang is back!
So FUNimation licensed it right away. Funny how this seemed so "hush-hush". I am so glad they are finishing up this show. I loved this series! It's funny that after reading an article in last month's Newtype USA how the creators said that his inspiration for the series from 'Little Women'. I'm not joking. He said it's 'Little Women' with guns. Mixed with a dosage of cyber-punk/western. I just shook my head on that one. Because when I watched the show it reminded me of BGC (the one and only original). And this is not the first time I was hearing this. I think that's why I fell in love with the show despite the "ahem..." unnecessary fanservice. Did we really need to see a worm's eye view of 'Amy' on the you-know-what? Sei and Jo are my faves. Can anyone else detect some 'Little Women' element? Please let me know if you do. Considering that I've never read the novel or watched the 2 movies. Maybe I should now. Also, did the manga adaption of the series come out before or after? Well, the good thing is that they will be putting a budget into this installment. Oh, and love the teaser shot on the site. Time for Meg to grow up in a big way. Cannot wait for this! |

for something so horrifically cliche, it's very stylish.

I'm looking at my Bakuten Starter box right here and they list dvds 2-6 + OVA Special as coming soon.
So it's been offical at least since the start of May. When i saw this artical it felt funny like i had heard it somewhere else, then i checked and found where i had seen it. |
