There's something amusing how immensely SHOUNEN this promo is.
Now one wonders if ViVid Strike will get a simulcast or fall into the same fate as the last one.

Well, yeah. This trailer totally not show even a bit of mahou shoujo at all, and only the Eins, Vivio (now with not hydrocephalic looks - shame on you, character designer of ViVid!) and Nove presence show that this is the ViVid spin-off for sure.

I'm not complaining, but why are we getting this before a 2nd season of ViVid?
Correction: I just found out that ViVid has a 2nd season confirmed for 2017.

Good to see Vivio and Einhart with animated with a decent character design. As much as I like the ViVid manga, the animation quality disappointed me a lot.

Not the same team. And yeah, screw the A-1 abomination based on ViVid.

Given the apparently darker tone and new characters coming in, I can hear the "It's Vivid's Force!" comments already. Though it probably won't be as hated as Force was since the lead isn't a guy.
But yeah, with Vivio, Einhart, and Nove in the trailer and Miura in the promo image, pretty safe to say this is a sequel to Vivid. Unless we got some My Otome level look-a-likes going on here.

Wasn't a bad PV. Certainly better production values than with A1.
The only thing that strikes me as rather odd werde those biker gangs. I know there is always a darker side to society, but to me it seems rather unfitting and anachronistic for the high-tech society of Midchilda.

So weird to hear Yui singing without Kaori.
Well, I actually really like magical girl shows that feature more punching/kicking than beamspam. It's one of the reasons I quite liked Futari wa Pretty Cure (though I fell out of the franchise after the first series). I'll just have to think of this as a brand new IP and not in any way related to Nanoha.

To be fair, she has solo-ed several times in the past, and this one in particular sounds almost exactly like the ED to Campione.

No instances of magic battles yet...
This should be an interesting development.

I think it looks more like a side-show than a sequel...

Does it take place on Midchilda? I kind of assume it's on Earth. Midchilda shouldn't have guns/ kinetic weapons

As much as I really wanted a season two of Vivid, the third movie, the continuation of Force (Yes I am one of the five people that liked Force) or The west to finally release the blurays of the entire Nanoha series, I can be content with Magical Lyrical Bancho Bashing. So I'm super psyched about this and I hope it does well.
