/inb4 Nintendo send them a "cease & desist" notice.

Also...

Prospective trainers are not given the choice of which burger they want, but are given one randomly.

That is a food allergy lawsuit waiting to happen. Confused

No, Squirtle?

Well, I'd eat Charmander or Pikachu.

A bit unfortunate that the Squirtle Burger didn't pan out well. But these three burgers are a delicious treat, particularly for Trainers! Smile

Then again...Yes, not being able to choose which Pokémon Burger you want to buy is serious potential for a food-allergy disaster.

The random aspect is bad. And The Pokemon Company is probably gonna jump on them for this.

ANN has agents across the country! There is not an hour we are not informed! Razz

No, I'm thinking it has something to do with the popularity growing after a Youtuber posted a review video on Thursday. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_I0n1eckb0

Too accurate to be accused of copyright infringement, I'm afraid.

$12 US for a burger and you don't even get to pick out which one you want? I'm not spending over ten dollars for a burger if I can't even get the one I want. Rolling Eyes

Has there really been a case where people have been sued for copyright infringement involving fan-made works involving food and/or drink? Confused

Designs look tasty on top of looking delicious. Only downside is no squirtle and random. I can understand no squirtle, but not the random aspect. I would want to try them all on top of giving some to friends. Not to mention also picking one with the best ingredients.

On the suit angle. I think this would fall under copyright and trademark violations. I don't know how you make a claim like this hold up when it involves food/drink. Now if it was in the USA, copyright maximalists like Disney would so be on this.

Here you go.
animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-08-28/the-pokemon-company-sues-organizers-of-pokemon-themed-party-for-copyright-infringement/.92213

It is unfair because non-profit fanmade game get closed by Nintendo while other people exploit Pokemon into their business get loose. They clearly gaining profits based on copyrighted material without permission.

And something fishy about buyers cant choose the burger they want. Is the burgers have same flavours and ingredients?
Edit: After read the article back, each burger are different for taste and ingredients. Too bad for Pokemon fans because they probably wont get to try it all.
