People keep talking about how great Madhouse is, but forget that Sunrise is the god high quality animation, just pointing that out is all.

When they're on they have some of the best 2D character animation and expressive characters around. The problem is some of their lesser studios like 3, 4 and 10 still suffer from the same problems the rest of the modern industry tends to with static images, stiff character movements and stock footage. If it's by Studio 1 or 8 though that basically means the character animation is going to look well above average.

Looking good, and I like the OST too. As a fan of the show, I am looking forward to more of this. A second season would be better though.

Noticed Maiden making a quick bow at the temple gate before making the winning cap. That and she still screams in fear even though she's been thrown around by Fuuko for years . . . that's just so "her"
