I get the distinct impression that this OVA is meant as a set-up for a third season which will likely begin airing as soon as Iron-Blooded Orphans Season Two finishes airing next Spring, just like how Unicorn Re:0096 began airing right after IBO to tide people over until the next season.

That is a lot of talking for a trailer made for an action series, I would say "this won't end well", but then I remembered this was Try so it's exactly what I expected.
