Uh, isn't it pretty much industry and press only? Maybe some others, but it isn't like there is general admission.

so how does this relate to previous years? I don't know if 70,000 attendees/50,000 game industry professionals are a good number or bad =0\...

A quick google suggests its pretty good especially considering several of the big players weren't there or were less active.

Funny thing is, not many people even knew E3 was open to the general public in 2016. They didn't advertise it but anyone can certainly go in and attend E3 (granted if you had the money to buy a ticket).

I would love to go to E3 some day and it would be so much easier if it wasn't on the other side of the country and in Los Angeles California.

If you guys thought E3 or Anime Expo is large, I have a comparison for Phoenix Comic Con 2016. I was looking in its program guide and counted up a total of 2200 guests, film/game events, panels, and vendors
