Sigh, only 1 cour...I was hoping it would be a lot more. Just hoping that they will at least adapt it consistently from the manga.

That's rather disappointing, but I can understand why. The manga barely updates as it is, and more than 1 cour would mean that eventually the anime would run out of material and we would have some intense filler like the first anime. I rather have the reboot end at Alma's arc than have that,

That's... a shame. I thought they had at least enough material for 2-cours but I guess that's not the case.

not surprising consider TMS have almost 10 projects this year. that's as much as they've made in the past 2 or 3 years.... in 1 year

I had the feeling that the chance for it to be a long-running show was low, but I thought that it would be about 2-3 cours. Well, at least we get more D.Gray-man.

Thought it would be about 24 episodes at least. 13 seems so short...
Well, looking forward to it either way.

They have like 10 volumes to adapt and have 13 episodes?

Well, there IS a chance that they could pull an Inuyasha The Final Act and include multiple chapters/volumes adapted per episode. But two episodes per DVD is an absolute rip-off if the episodes aren't 45 minutes long each.

Two episodes per disc is standard in Japan.

While I can understand them only doing 12 episodes; it's still a huge disappointment for those of us who wanted more. I certainly wanted at least 22-24 episode if they could manage it.

Well, that's disappointing, I was hoping for at least twice that.
