Anime Series 'Tougen Anki' to Participate in AFA Indonesia 2025

TOKYO, JAPAN - Apr 9, 2025 - It has been confirmed that the anime "TOUGEN ANKI" will participate in the Japanese pop culture event AFA Indonesia 2025, which will take place from June 6 (Fri) to June 8 (Sun) in Jakarta, Indonesia.

At this Southeast Asia's largest pop culture event, the anime will have its world premiere screening of Episode 1 on the main stage, "DAY STAGE"! Additionally, Kazuki Ura, the voice actor for the protagonist Shiki Ichinose, and Takanori Matsuoka, the producer from PONY CANYON, will be holding a talk session to discuss the behind-the-scenes of the production and its charm.

TOUGEN ANKI is set to begin airing in July across Japan and will expand globally. The world premiere at AFA Indonesia 2025 marks the first step in its worldwide launch. Don't miss it!

■Synopsis
"You inherit the blood of an Oni (demon)..."

The bloodlines of "Oni" and "Momotaro" have been passed down among certain humans for generations. Long ago, the Oni, aware of their own ferocity, lived in seclusion. However, their peace was shattered by an invasion led by Momotaro. Over thousands of years, these two factions formed the "Momotaro Agency" and the "Oni Agency," respectively, and have been locked in conflict ever since.

The protagonist, Shiki Ichinose, suddenly learns of his Oni lineage following an unexpected attack by Momotaro. This revelation sets Shiki on a path to discover the destiny that lies within his blood — a meeting with the Oni dwelling within him.
