Hmm... makes sense. I'd consider buying it when I have cash, especially to support a double-local venture. But Protoculture Addicts has always been hard to find outside of comic book stores, even in Montreal; I spot the occasional issue at Chapters or Multimags sometimes, but only every once in a while.

PA has always been my favorite Anime magazine, this just makes things so much better for both parties in my eyes.

What changes will be made to existing "Protoculture Addicts" magazine?

As I thought, it's nothing that has anything to do with me. Well, I have to say Congratulations, and hope you'll succeed with the new shared magazine. Let's see if I can get one next summer...

Does proculture addicts have a website so that we can subscribe online? It bears the ANN approval, so I might as well check it out.

Does that mean people who work for free at ANN finally have a chance to get paid?

Sure is, but it's quite a bit harder to find. However, subscriptions are cheap, only $30 for US and Canada (both in USD), and USD $45 for overseas (this includes you Sarki-Kun) for bi-monthly 6 issues. I'll probably start a subscription in November so that my first issue should be the January issue. So what are the details here? Is this a partnership or a merger ("ANN Presents" is a pretty serious pretitle)? What will change with the new format? How will the staff be effected (Combined? Kept Seperate? Replaced?)? And how will ANN be effected? This really is great news and I look forward to seeing how things evolve from here. Emerje |

I felt bad because I've never heard of this magazine, but from what I read it's hard to find and probably has never seen the lights of where I live.
But, since I am moving to FL, I hope I can find it there, especially since there's a comic book store down there I want to check out. |

Ask for it That's the best way to get it into more stores is for people to ask the stores to get it (but only ask if you're gonna buy). Often times, if they know they can sell you 1 copy, they'll buy a few extras to see how it does with other customers... -t |
