Crest of the stars DVD production

I have a question when one of my friends claim that the first disc of the bandai Crest of the stars release has major video problems, was this remastered or will it be in a soon future, and is the claim even true?

initial pressings or so were faulty, however this problem has been rectified ages ago. all discs in the collection are fine.
