I just watched the first episode on Funimation. It totally rocks. Is the Manga scanned or any news on it coming to America?

From what I remembered being told, it is not based on a manga but rather on a series of light novels. For future reference, there are no manga scantalation or download requests allowed and as far as I know there is no news of the light novels being released in North America.

Ok. I know about the light novels, but there is a manga based off them.

Dunno why you'd go for the manga. It's just an adaption of one part of the Baccano!. Art also looks pretty damn dire just from glancing at the covers.

Stick with the anime adaption. It's one of the most confidently directed, written and enjoyable anime ever made.
