Interesting spelling...
Anyways, I'm finding some great posters on sale in my locale japanese book stores. It' is going to be fun to see what happens. I just hope they don't murder the plot for a cheap buck.

Yeh i just found out that i have an import store in my local mall and i just got battle royal. But he didn't know when advent children came out.

I concur. Late fall, to early spring 2005, but this might be subject to change. And here's a big downer:

For those waiting for this(like me and just about all my friends who ever played the game), the DVD release is one thing, but translation and liscesing? Another. I guess we've got no choice but to wait. Crying or Very sad

Quite a few website reported that it will be bunble with FFXII. Not sure if it's accurate though.

The Translation and english dub are being done at the same time as the Japanese verson is being dubed.

The word on the street right now is late 2004 for the Japanese relase, and early 2005 for the North American release. Your best bet for FFVII:AC questions is adventchildren.net

Nope. In talkback I posted a link to an article at 1up.com that was a preview at the Venice Films Festival. FF7:AC is now delayed till sping 05 for Japan. This might be extended further.

i herad it was coming out late fall but if thats not bad then this is, i heard "Square-Enix has made a deal with Sony to make their fully-CG movie based on the infamous Final Fantasy VII a PSP exclusive movie. As of a few weeks ago, Final Fantasy: Advent Children will release ONLY as a UMD. And its It's 70 minutes long"

No, they're definitely releasing it to DVD. There's no doubt about that. Sony would have had to pay a mole of yen to Square Enix for that to happen.

Since people are posting rumours, I'll plug this article again.

Lotsa offical information, which debunks the UMD rumour as well as gives lotsa plot details for the unfinished version. While a UMD version isn't ruled out, the film is too big to fit on one UMD disc and would require two discs. It is possible, but unknown at this time if there would be a theater release. Basically, They Ain't Done Yet.
