 this pissis me off, missoui has no conventions at all not even anime someone please start 1 damet! come on!!! missouri has nothing but stuff for the goverment and has too many small towns with less than 500 people in them. if an anime convention owner or anime company reads this set up a convention in a city, [EDIT - No personal information, thanks. -C]

I am afraid that it does not work that way.
Anime Cons are started by Anime Fans start and let me tell you it ain't no picnic. It's money out your own pocket. Of course you could start a small con at your local Library or Community Center. Though I have no experience in starting a con of my own I do staff at two cons a year and let me tell From Big cons like Otakon to small cons like Anime USA. if you want I can get you on a the yahoo mailing list called"anime cons." Just give me your e-mail by e-mailing me at [email protected]. There will be alot of people on the mailing list who will be willing to help you to start your own anime con in your area. |
