Hulu.com has resently thrown it's hat into the anime ring. The site, for thoughs of you who don't know, is a legal free streaming website that shows a veriety of shows. And they have a small anime archive. So far they have...
1. Astro Boy
2.Black Blood Brothers
3. Bleach
4. Blue Gender
5. Death Note
6. Galaxy Railways
7. Ikki Tousen
8. Kiddy Garde
9. Moon Phase
10. Mushi-shi
11. Naruto
12. Peach Girl
13. Rumbling Hearts
14. School Rumble
15. Shikabane Hime
16. Shuffle
17. Slayers
18. Speed Racer
19. xxxHolic

My question is, How satisfied are you with the Hulu.com serves? Personally I enjoy it, it has some good anime and it has some with sub and others with dub. It's a good variety all around. I'm really looking foreword to hulu.com getting a larger archive. My favorite thing about Hulu is the fact that they're releasing Shikabane Hime so quickly. It's only a matter of weeks separating the Japanese debut and the Hulu release.

It has been reported on multiple times in the news here on ANN, but as I cannot access the streams I cannot comment specifically on Hulu's service. A number of those series are available elsewhere, you specifially mention Shikabane Hime Aka which can also be views on Joost, Youtube and through the FUNimation website itself.

if you have this problem it might be because you don't have the proper requirements (I don't think that should be the case, if so I believe it should be easy to fix that problem), or you might need to set up an account (the account is free). If you still can't get access I don't know what to tell you.

It's because Hulu is unavailable in most countries.

I suppose that's true.
"Q : Why can't I watch your videos from outside the U.S.?
For now, Hulu is a U.S. service only. That said, our intention is to make Hulu's growing content lineup available worldwide. This requires clearing the rights for each show or film in each specific geography and will take time. We're encouraged by how many content providers have already been working along these lines so that their programs can be available over the Internet to a much larger, global audience. The Hulu team is committed to making great programming available across the globe."

As someone who actually does live in the US, I love Hulu.

I watched the first episode of Moon Phase and Shikabane Hime, but they revealed to me that "these aren't the sort of shows I'd normally enjoy." The harsh cutting edge of "try before you buy." I want to watch Shuffle too, I've always been interested in that.

Although, it has the benefit over other legal anime streaming sites of a large, excellent non-anime catalog. Daily Show and Colbert Report and Family Guy and all that...some popular shows.

I like Hulu. I don't normally like to watch streams, but I'm pretty impressed with their quality. I'm able to watch them full screen on my laptop without too much frustration. I hope to see more shows added in the future, and more subs as well.
