Nice; I really enjoyed this OVA. I hope the English dub is the same I watched it with.

Coincidentally I've been showing this to my friends this week. Can't wait to pick it up.

Kintaro's English dub actor is the best.

Kintaro's English VA made the show for me. Just love his performance. Pleased to hear the news.

One of the few ecchi shows that is actually funny and I felt the need to own. Strange they'd pick it up right now though, seems like the previous release is still readily available.

Isn't this the third publisher to release it? IIRC, ADV & Media Blasters have both released it in the past.

I'd like to pick this up, but for someone who already has one of the previous releases, does this one include anything that other versions didn't? Was there a video or audio remaster?

That aside, if one does not own Golden Boy, this is an excellent time to pick it up.

I know I'm alone in this, but I dislike the English dub. Not that I care for the Japanese, but the English VA, Doug whatever, just sounds like a mentally deficient person. I think it was the dialog itself that helped sell the dub more than the acting.

Anyway, you can still buy the Media Blasters disc, I'm sure it's abundant enough on the internet. If nothing else changes in this release, why bother potentially paying even a dollar more on top of waiting until November? I guess it's nice to know the OVA will still be in print, but it's honestly not a largely sought after title anymore. Same thing happened with FUNi and Armitage III, aside from their bundle version.

This is one of my favorite ova's, so I'm happy to see that it's going to be available again for those who don't already own it. I hope they keep the old dub, it was really great as well imo.
If there's any reason to re-buy it (better video, new & worthwhile extra's etc) I'd pick this up, but most likely there won't be, so I can't say I'll be re-buying this again. But to those that don't have it and like ecchi comedies, please don't hesitate to get this.

That release date of Nov 6 is exactly 5 years to the day Media Blasters released it after license rescuing it from ADV.
