Well, that's on the USA side of things, like Tokyopop and Borders. I think maybe this list is a bit more holistic? I didn't realize until I clicked the link that the actual list is in Japanese, so I'm impressed that Funimation made it.

Very interesting to see the sale of Funimation making the list, I wonder if it had any impact in Japan that we're mostly unaware of?

Which one? Between Upper Deck and 4Kids, Yu-Gi-Oh has been in the courts quite a bit this year.

I hadn't even thought about it, but yes, with Madoka Majica and Tiger & Bunny, this was a big year for anime-original works, wasn't it? That's a trend I hope continues. I mean, adapted works can be great, but originals give creators the opportunity to step out of the box a little more. There's something to be said for that.
