unfortunately, i missed out on FCBD, but to those who were able to go, what were in the tokyopop and del rey samplers?

i only saw the del ray sampler, and it was just preview chapters of their mangas. since nothing from them interests me, i opted for the free Star Wars and Spawn instead

I missed it as well, even after calling to check they had manga samplers! Grrr, it made me sad, but oh well. They honestly didn't have a tokyopop, or viz? That's pathetic, you'd think they'd show some interest for free publicity.

i just went today, and suprisingly they were still giving out the Del Ray books. Tokyopop already releases a promotional book containing sample chapters of their new products every year, they have them at comic book stores (for browsing only, which serves no purpose when the mangas are right there) and at conventions I've heard. Viz has sample manga on their website, so i guess they were too lazy to print something

yeah, i have the tokyopop sampler that has princess ai, crescent moon, KM2, and whatnot - but apparently there's a new one out >_> man, not having a comic book store nearby will suck even more when the CLAMP magazines come out
