Hell yeah, it's about freakin' time. Five years ago stuff like this wouldn't have a chance in hell of getting a statside release. Thank goodness for the growth in the fanbase over the last few years. Now companies are finally getting around to diversifying their acquisitions instead of just getting an endless stream of mecha shows. I'm so stoked about both of these releases because I love them so...especially To Heart! It makes me giggle with girlish glee! Ah-uuuuun! Hiroyuki-san!

I agree, I'm so glad To Heart is finally coming to the US!

I knew people would be happy about To Heart, and rightfully so. I myself am pleasently surprised about Boys Be. What both have in common is that their manga have been previously licensed.
Come to think of it, perhaps it only made sense for Right Stuf to get To Heart considering the fact also have the Comic Party anime, and that the two are linked. So in many ways, this was coming.
Call me a sucker for stories of first love.
Good stuff.

Yeah, but they licensed them in the wrong order! If you haven't seen To Heart then how would you be able to know what the dream sequence at the beginning of Comic Party was about? Oh well, I shouldn't complain, better late than never!

Its strategy. They release Comic Party first and people see the To Heart references and get curious. So when it comes time for the DVD release, more people will be interested and buy it.
That's how it happened with me, and I'd say its a pretty good strategy.

To Heart seemed a bit too laid back to me. I actually got really bored with it, even though I'd like to see the last episode (I made it to twelve) just so I can log it as being watched completely.
I wish them good luck with this one. I'm not saying its bad, I'm just saying alot of the things it deals with seem kind of irrelevant (Such as what seat you sit in at a classroom), and I think it might be found boring by alot of people.
The animation is good, but the plot seems a bit too cliche ridden to me.
I wish them good luck marketing it, though. The Comic Party idea could be what they where going for, I think To Heart would need that kind of push to be well recieved.

Do you think TRSI will rename 'Boys be...' to fit the Tokyopop rename of the manga? Because the rename is really bad. Tokyopop is calling it 'A Guys Guide To Girls', which I feel just slightly uncomfortable buying, as I'm a woman who loves 'Boys Be...' and I really want to support the manga.
I mean, I'll still buy it and everything, but I'll seem alittle weird explaining to my friends I love A Guys Guide to Girls. I mean, really, they're gonna ask me a few questions.

They better not rename it or make any alterations I'd like to see it as perfect and original as possible. I was on ep 10 when they licensed it so now I'll have to wait. Hope they do a good job and it is about time the shows been out awhile (I know I should have finished it sooner)

Sure, it's late in coming, but I'm glad it's been licensed nonetheless. I've actually never seen beyond the first 2-3 episodes, but maybe this will re-spark an interest in me and in the long term, make TRSI a little more money from me.

I doubt that they rename it.
But anywa, the important part wasn't even listed!! TRSI picked up the rights to the live-action Boogiepop and Others Movie too!!!!
