Anyone going? This will be my 3rd year i believe maybe 4th. Looking forward to it a lot. I'm split between comics and anime. So this is the best con for me. It's been getting bigger every year, and the anime sections are expanding too. Wonder what new things will there this year.

I'm on the otherside of the country and SDCC isn't a financial option for me to attend, but i do look forward to it every year. Some of the best news of the year comes up there, especially if you're a toy collector like me, it's a great filler when waiting for Toy Fair.

Quick heads-up, Yoshiro Nightow will be at SDCC speaking in a pannely titled "SubCultures: Toy Revolution" presented by Jessie "R Hunter" DeStasio. R is working out a press release and he'll be sending a copy here with all of the info soon, look forward to it!

Um, you ever do something for a very long time, and then suddenly come to the understanding you've been doing it wrong? I've always called him "Yoshiro" and now I can't figure out where I got that from. And on top of that I copied and pasted the name from R Hunter, and on top of that a Google search shows that we aren't the only ones... What's wrong with us? Anime smile + sweatdrop

Haha, don't worry about it. For the longest time I pronounced manga "main-guh" and Matt Groening as "Matt Groan-ing"... well, that's not really the same thing, but I know how you feel.

It'll be my 3rd year also. I'm last minute working on a pair of jeans for my daughter who wants to cosplay as Sha Gojyo--we dyed her hair today & it turned out pretty well. She's usually blue so the magenta is different. We're bringing a friend of hers plus she has 3 other friends who will be there. I'll be checking out a few more panels this year, I think. My first year was a bit newbie/take it all in, although I have been to cons loooong ago--Dark Shadows around 1980. Last year was a bit more comfortable, but still. it is huge. It's loads of fun. As large as it is, there aren't that many problems.

Yes, I haven't had problems with it. This reminds me that I need to make sure everything is according to plan. Tons of fun. Maybe I'll see whoever else shows up.

This is my 2nd SDCC, and thanks to awesome hook-ups from friends, I will be helping out at one of the booths ...

Most of my spending will go towards American-type comics, seeing as I got my anime fix from Expo already. Very Happy
