Like we didn't already know that back when GL premiered in July.
Old news is old.

You misunderstand; this is a company press release, not a news article.

Yea but it is still a press release is takes longer.Either way the series is still good despites it's edited. And i'm kinda susprised it's this popular cause i was sure it'll be a lot less because of the fansubs and illegal downloads.hopefully if there's a second season, they must fix that senario fast.

Quote: | Gurran Lagann is a science fiction, comedy action series reminiscent of great “mecha” anime titles like Gunbuster, Nadia, and Evangelion. |
Gunbuster, yes. And I'd agree about Evangelion based on episode twenty-six, and also the plotline that filled up episodes 18 - 22. Still, 26 was Instrumentality if ever I saw it. But Nadia? Is Nadia even really mecha? I mean, it gets pretty weird the further it goes, but I don't think it ever devolved into full-blown mecha. Aside from the Gratin.
On the other hand, if this means that someone else noticed that Sanson of Nadia is definitely the prototype for Kamina (down to the sunglasses and the robot that drills), then that would be nice.
Minor quibble aside this was an interesting read even if it is kind of old news. I bought the sub-only release and don't plan on re-buying the show, but it's nice to hear everyone being so enthusiastic about their job, even it is kind of their job to be enthusiastic. And learning more details about the dubbing process was pretty interesting.
