Hopefully this will be brought over soon by Bandai. With luck, they'll be putting out discs that can be played by then. Wink

That would be nice but Bandai seems to prefer putting OVAs out as separate releases. Hopefully they'll have some mercy on us. (Though, if there are more OVA eps done down the road or even a second season, a separate release might work better.)

My personal take is as long as it comes out in R1 (please with English dub Bandai, I beg for it) then it's okay.

I can totally see Bandai licensing this and placing this OVA on the final volume of Lucky Star. Since this is Lucky Star, I am sure the rpg episode will be quite interesting.

I thought this OVA was going to be a series, as in, not just a few episodes. It only makes sense. Keep popping out OVAs and make amazing profit off all the otaku who mindlessly purchase it, without even having seen it on TV.

There was a different television commercial that the website posted last month. This new promotional video did get leaked last week, but it's now finally on the official site.

It's a DVD and CD set, 45 min OVA with a 25 min CD...

Done in widescreen format...

Hehehe - I liked the RPG bit in the preview...

Are you just trolling with the mindless remarks or do you actually believe that someone who as enjoyed a series shouldn't be able to buy an OVA for it blind with a reasonable belief they'll enjoy it too?

I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt and say you didn't mean to imply that people like me are mindless just because we haven't already watched every episode of a show or the OVAs but are buying them out of an evidence-supported belief that we'll enjoy them.

I'm sure there are more than a few people on this forum who've bought something blind on another fan's recommendation or off of a paticularly good trailer or critical review, so I doubt you meant to call those people mindless since they didn't watch it all first on TV.

Seriously, there is nothing mindless about buying an OVA sight unseen if you liked the series. It's just an extra episode or so of the show you already watched for pity's sake.

Sounds like yet another reason for them to increase BD adoption rates. With such tight production specs, the discs either fail QC tests or outlive the person buying them.
