R2 isn't even finished in Japan, while here...the first series hasn't finished airing, and we already get an announcement...?
Well. At least the fans are getting those "faster releases" they've been bitching about for years, finally. |

I kinda expected this, but at the same time I didn't. I did think it'd go on Adult Swim, but this 2nd season has a bit more weird content than the first season.

I wouldn't describe it as "a bit more weird," more like a complete mess. The first season is beyond great. Every episode raises the bar and it just makes you crave the next episode more. The second season totally screwed up the series. The story is all over the place and it just doesn't feel anything like the first season. All of the characters are a bit off too, especially Lelouch. It is quite sad actually.

Awesome news. Code Geass is the best series I've seen this year. It's great we will be getting season 2 very quickly.

Well, it's kind of obvious that it would, and it would make the series 50 episodes which is more appropriate for American television runs. I will agree that the second series is a huge trainwreck though, but like a real trainwreck, it's fun to watch.

While I don't have AS, I'm excited because this news also means that we'll get the DVDs sometime around the first quarter of 2009.
While I have no idea as of yet what kind of CLAMP art will be featured on the JP box, I just hope that Bandai Entertainment will use that instead of pasting a random group picture like the one they used for the LE R1 box. |

This was kind of a given I say...but they haven't really said when they'll show it. Will they air it immediately after season one is done (which is what I hope)? Will they air it months from now? Who knows...

My opinion of the show (and especially the changes made for the American adaptation of it) aside, it is nice to see that the second season has already been confirmed.

What I meant by "weird content" was that there's more underwear shots and booty shots and possibly naked people.
