I searched the Encyclopedia on names and title, but cannot find anything related to this title.

In my small collection I have an OVA called "Deap Sea: Misson Moo". The main cast is formed by submarine 707 and its crew.

According to the encyclopedia there is one OVA (two episodes) starring this submarine 707 and its crew.

More info on "DeepSea: Mission Moo":
The OVA lasts 47 minutes, directed by Teruo Kigurashi and the production company is Knack (from the DVD cover).
Moo is a submarine community, similar to Atlantis.
Based on the animation style it looks from the 1980s, but the small data I found it is from 1997.
It contains some fanservice.

Any knows something on this animation or where I can find more information on this title?

Man you have some rare item. Shocked

I'm adding it to the Encyclopedia.

You sure you have it in DVD, not VHS?! As far as I can find there's no DVD release from TOEI, so it's either a bootleg (now who would pirate something so few people know about?), or it was so unknown and hid under my radar sweep successfully. Could you provide some photograph of your copy (scanned image preferred)? TIA.

I have it on DVD, released in the Netherlands in 2005 by A-Film. I bought it last year for a bargain price (3 Euros).

This OVA has also been released on DVD in France in the same year by TF1 Video).

I do not have a scan available, but perhaps URLS to a Dutch Web shop are permitted (If not permitted, edit my post).

Front cover and the back cover:

The only and limited info on this DVD I could find was from Dutch web shops, or French anime sites and web shops.

I do not think it was released in Britain or the USA.

Thanks a lot, anijunk. This is a true rare find, and I believe that most Japanese fans wouldn't be able to watch it on DVD.

By the way, the catalog page is kind of strange: "Kigurashi" is not a valid Japanese family name (as far as I know) and is likely a misspelling of Kogure. 1998 -- the year of production ("productiejaar") might be of the Dutch release, not of the original Japanese release.

Feel free to post links as long as the product is legitimate.

Yes, corresponding to Atlantis. However, for most English speakers "Moo" is the sound of cattle. Anime smile + sweatdrop

The back cover of the VHS edition that you posted says "'97.1" (specified here as 1997-01-10), though this product page mentions something about 1990. Allcinema supports the 1997-01-10 date, as does the Japanese Wikipedia.

1990年代 = 1990s = anywhere between 1990 and 1999
You'd think I haven't checked all four pages you linked? :P
