This is kind of interesting. I know Kadokawa was intermittently publishing Comp H’s for a while, which was kind of like Megami, if focused on Haruhi and Lucky☆Star. Then, of course, there is the Kadokawa Group's ASCII Media Works's Dengeki line (Dengeki G's Magazine, Hime, Dengeki G's Festival! Anime, etc).
Although I do wonder how Nyantype will be different than what they already publish, I'll probably check it out.^^

Same here!
I wonder what it'll be like, but I doubt it could be as good as Megami.

I so wish alot of this type of stuff came here. We did have Newtype USA for a while but that's the problem is that nobody buys them but Harcore fans. Oh well... at least I still have my current issues of Newtype Japan. I don't want to spend anymore money since I'm already paying 20 bucks a month to get Newtype Japan to me.

OK, I don't generally read anime news mags, but is that Kadokawa the same as that Kadokawa Shoten production company?

Awesome =] If it is anywhere near as good as Megami Magazine, I'll definitely have to check it out.

The one aimed at us gals tends to be pin-up shots (full page spreads of the art they've run in the pages of Newtype). My daughter buys 2 so she can cut one up usually. Sanseido only gets it in occasionally.

Now if only Newtype could do as well here, then maybe we'd get to see these spinoffs, which sound terribly intriguing.

I already get Newtype Japan and Megami, so I suppose if this is available through my local game/comic shop I'll get it as well. this is getting expensive though...

I live in Industrial Wasteland USA, so I have to order from Akadot. I only buy Cookie and Ribon regularly, but will sample this.

OMGWTFBBQ I thought I was the only one who does that!
Does she also use them to make collages on her walls?

Although I'm not interested in the mag, I feel compelled to say that it has an awesome name.

Trying to compete with Megami, huh? As someone who's been subscribing to Megami for almost 5 years now, I'm interested to see how it turns out. But I'm afraid that I'll like it too, thus forcing me to do another expensive import subscription....
Megami hasn't been able to show nudity for a few years though. I wonder if Newtype will one-up them on that front.

Any speculation on why the leading kanji, which is usually read "musume", is given a reading of "nyan"? I thought "nyan" was what Japanese cats say.
