Grrr, actually need an iPhone or iPod Touch to view it... That bites...
I would like to see something that can be used with either the Sony eBook Reader or the Kindle...

From the article: has self-published his own dōjinshi manga this week in Apple's iTunes App Store in 20 countries, including the United States and Canada
That's all that is mentioned, I just took that as it would only be published online via itunes. The artilce doesn't state it will be PUBLISHED in the states only that it will be available on the itunes site. I read the article.

It's a doujinshi - a self-published work, which is very rarely (if ever?) published outside of Japan. Most major companies don't license them.
If there's a way to view this in the iTunes software, or as a picture file, I'll certainly purchase this. I admire the creativity that ABe puts into his works.

Sorry people, it's an apps store program. =/
Strictly iPhone and Touch as far as I know...
But, you regular iPod users have Song Summoner, can't be THAT bad that you're missing out...
But seriously, it's a little bit of a below average translation job. Regardless, I'll probably get it, being it's only 5 bucks.

Considering how much ABe loves Apple, I have to admit this is probably him killing two birds with one stone: Satisfying the hunger of his fans abroad while simultaneously forcing them to support his favorite electronics company.

Hmmm... iPod exclusive manga, PS3 exclusive anime. So what happens when fans run out of money buying devices and don't have money to buy content?

They get a new hobby? ._.;;
I mean anime is KINDA on par with golf... I mean, some of you must think that, right?

I'm a huge ABe fan and I really enjoyed this piece (even though I'm not big on the official translation, which is rather leaden). It's more in the "NieA_7" vein than anything else, although there's a bit of nicely whimsical magical realism. If you've got the equipment, buy it.
This is, by the way, a brilliant use of modern technology. It's great to see ABe in the news again; hopefully we'll get more of him in the near future, and more independent artists trying this sort of thing.
