On Smile Precure (anime#13809) and the new Precure All Stars New Stage Movie (anime#13804) someone had posted in a bunch of character names and voice actors citing a post on LiveJournal as the source. LiveJournal is a message board and full of a ton of speculation, and several people have been posting things there recently without citing sources. The post in question with all of the voice actor information has been traced back to someonee's *wishlist* on a post on 2ch, not an official source.
This has had an interesting effect, because everyone knows ANN has this rule about "only official sources are accepted" stated on the form where you submit information. So when it shows up on the encyclopedia entries here, people are going back to LiveJournal and saying "see? this really is true, ANN posted it!". Nothing like a recursive self-confirming rumor. I suggest as a general rule that LiveJournal should not be accepted as a source unless the user who posted the message is actually a representative of one of the publishers or something. |

Yeah, I've looked it up, and the person making the post prefaced it with "CV予想". They're clearly meant as predictions, not confirmed/leaked information. I have removed all of the fake cast listings. |

*sigh*
At the bottom of every page we have "This encyclopedia is collaboratively edited by the users of this site" and a link to the full disclaimer and you can even look up the source given for each credit. If despite all that people still blindly trust everything and anything... honestly I don't know what more we can do. |
