Anyone going this year? If so are you cosplaying? I'm going this year. I'll be one of the many Inuyashas there. I also plan on entering the AMV contest.

I wish there was more anime expos or even conventions in every state and I can't travel to CA due to time and money constraints. Maybe one day it be held in Iowa....

Well, I'm planning on being there this year, at the very least. I enjoy taking a trip out of state, even if it does cost me a bit of money.

I will definately be going this year. Of coarse, for me it's only a few hours drive. I kinda want to go as Kouga if I can get my costume together over the summer.

One of them is about "who's going?"
The other deals with shopping at AX. The other subject line has been changed to match that. |

Aahhh, anime expo, such fond memories.... I MIGHT be going with about 7 other of my friends...... This will equal a very crowded car. My costume is underway... but it has NOT been going as planned. meh, I'll try, I may not even be able to go.

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate thread to post this on, but I was thinking about attending Anime Expo 2004. I'm a newbie regarding conventions, and I was wondering if you could answer some questions I have:
1. I live about 35 minutes from the venue. Is it better to purchase a one, two, or three day pass? Why? 2. Do conventions tend to reserve their highly attractive events for one time period [beginning or conclusion of convention] or do they tend to spread it around throughout the weekend? 3. What should I keep my eyes out for during the convention? Thanks. |

Yeah, I'm planning on going; gotta represent Kitchen Discotheque and Real Otaku Heroes. I'm also going to see if I can get some gaming on with QoH '99 / Party's Breaker / Melty Blood / Melty Blood ReACT / 8 player Bomberman. Maybe even set up a tournament...
