Ok, this may have been asked before, and if it has forgive me but is there going to be a release of all the Love Hina episodes in one boxset of some sort? I love the anime but have held of on buying it cause I'd rather just buy them all in one swoop.

You actually could've just posted this in one of the other more recent Love Hina threads that are on the first page right now. But since you're new, it's OK.
And as for your question, I'm thinking there could be one. I think they released the movies and OAV in a boxed set just recently, right?
It all depends on the sales hoopla Geneon has to generate in order to see a demand for one. However, I'm not a big expert and can't really tell you if there will or won't be one. I suppose all you can do for now is hope.
Welcome to the forum!

Yeah, I could have, sorry about that. And thanks for the welcome, I'm gonna like this board.
Personally I hope they do come out with a box set, it'd be a lot easier and cheaper than buying them individually.

Yeah I've been considering ordering this box set off ebay that has everything; the series plus the movies. It's imported though so I'm not sure if it would play on my DVD player.

Really, Tony, Pioneer wants Love Hina to succeed over their token harem series Ai Yori Aoshi?
Wow, they've certainly got a lot of goodwill towards Bandai.

That's probably a bootleg and you shouldn't waste your time or money on it.

Is Ai Yori Aoshi that good? Sorry, haven't seen it yet, but I'll add that to my list of series to buy.
And by the way, I thought Tenchi was Pioneer's "token harem series." You'd agree with that though, wouldn't you?

It used to be, then they were like "Ew, it's old, toss it!" and tried to replace it with another harem title.
Problem is, the genre mostly went to crap after Tenchi.

Why would you waste your money on the Love Hina anime. The anime takes everything good about the manga and utterly ruins it. It might very well be the worst manga - anime translation I have ever seen. And the art is terrible.
Save some money and just buy the manga.

The first few episodes are decent, but don't bother past the first DVD, after that it goes downhill into mostly fanservice.

I don't know, I don't think the Love Hina anime was THAT bad. I read the manga before I saw the initial anime and honestly, exept for a few minor gripes, I though it was pretty good. Although I've only seen like a couple of episodes.

Its the fact that they change major chapters, change characters, throw the story out of order.
If you really want I can post my list of grievances.

Sure, go for it. Like I said I havn't seen much of the anime and I'd like to hear about what all they changed from the manga. The only thing that really annoyed me was Kitsunne's voice on the dub version, I really didn't picture her having a southern accent. Also I heard they took out a lot of the sexual talk and references in the dub version.
