I remember a friend of mine posting a bunch of pictures from this on her blog a while back when she was in Japan and looking through random manga. It looked fairly entertaining and very well-drawn, from what I could tell of it in its raw format. I'll probably be interested in seeing at least the first episode or two of the anime adaptation thanks to that. We'll see if it's any good. ^^

i didn't like this too much, mainly because the young master was FAR to annoying to stand, the butler and the maid with glasses is totally awesome though. Maybe the anime will make the young master not so annoying >_>.
Clannad's out this fall? So many good shows coming out next season

I was really excited when I heard the news of this yesterday of Kuroshitsuji becoming an anime ^___^
the thing that worries me though is that there isn't enough chapters out so I guess they'll have to make an original storyline at one point or they'll make 13 episodes and come out with a second season when more chapters are out.
it does have good comedy at some points but....

more serious than a lot of other mangas i've seen with the idea of a butler and a young master.
especially at one point of the story where Sebastian (the butler) kills this guys' henchmen with eating utensils

Well the plot and story seem pretty standard from what I can tell. But if the art is anything like the picture ANN posted in the article, then I would like to check it out.

Kuroshitsuji has a special place in my heart, because It premiered in the first issue of GFantasy I ever got. It's very well drawn, and I think it maintains a good balance between humor and action. It's rather hard to believe it's Toboso's first series of more than one volume in length.
I would really love to see an anime of her previous one-volume manga Rust Blaster.

OMGOMGOMG! I totally expected that a series like this would eventually get an anime, but not this soon! I really like this series because not only are the character designs gorgeous, the butler (protagonist) is far from the typical klutz.

For example, ge very competent (gasp!), and he's also not quite human. |
They already revealed he's a demon in the article..

My bad, I just skimmed passed the part with the summary.
Fixed.
