I'm really waiting for the 2nd semester to come out in the United States. I've pre-ordered the OAV so I'm pretty stoked about it.

finally!!! as much complaining there has been about this years "anime slump", i have found it to be my favorite year. first tokyo revolutions, then macross frontier and code geass, and we are getting more lucky star and now school rumble!! gotta love sequels

I read up to seven volumes of School Rumble, but I am into this series at all.

But if this makes someone happy, that is all that should matter.

The first two seasons had slightly different styles. I don't know how to describe it, the second season characters seemed... smaller? <- Just a random thought.

In answer to your question, I agree that it looks better. But then, since it's an OAV, the animation budget is probably higher than a typical episode in the series. There were some seriously pretty scenes in the first OAV.
